Light dusting, some foxing in the margins, short tear in the right margin. Engraver and printseller; mainly dealt in copying, portraits and in prints for the lids of tobacco boxes. Ceased activity at the death of his wife, 1731, and sold part of his business to his sons Louis and Etienne-Louis.
