Jean Dessès, born Jean Dimitre Virginie, is a fashion designer, born to Greek parents in Alexandria, Egypt on August 6, 1904 and died in Athens on August 2, 1970. He owned in Paris, from 1937 to 1968, one of the most important fashion houses.

Its models are characterized by generous square, dart, point and sweetheart necklines that extend deep into the back, giant details such as collars, lapels or wide necklines.
