Cuny François Daumont (1717-1768) arrived in Paris around 1737, settled around 1746 rue de la Ferronnerie. Daumont then published all kinds of prints, but mainly geographical maps and some popular images. He is also known as an editor of optical views and wallpaper dealer, he even co-publishes some musical scores, notably by Jean-Philippe Rameau.
In 1757, he left rue de la Ferronnerie to move to rue Saint-Martin.
