Imaging on laid paper edited in Rouen by Veuve Machuel.
Lined proof, uniformly browned, median fold.
The name and existence of this editor is reported by Jean-Dominique Mellot. Marie Catherine Gaillard appears under her name of Veuve Machuel on the death of her husband Jean-Baptiste III from 1746 as a bookseller, undoubtedly supported by her brother-in-law Pierre Machuel already installed in the profession.
