Shahab-ud-din Muhammad Khurram (January 5, 1592 - January 22, 1666) better known by his reign name Shâh Jahân (or Chah Djahan; King of the world) was the fifth Mughal emperor, who reigned from 1628 to 1658. From John Ogilby's edition of Arnoldus Montanus's 'Asia', 1673.
