Exceptional imagery from the series of large equestrian portrait, published in Nancy on very fresh vergé by Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte, born January 26, 1763 in Pau and died March 8, 1844 in Stockholm, French soldier who became King of Sweden and Norway under the names of Charles XIV Jean (in Swedish, Karl XIV Johan) and Charles III John (in Norwegian, Karl III Johan) from 1818 until his death, after being appointed regent in 1810 during the reign of Charles XIII.
Tiny restoration at the waist.
